Information We Receive

Rivalry Commerce receives information you voluntarily provide when you contact us, request a playbook, apply for a live case study, submit a deployment or vendor inquiry, or communicate by email. Depending on the form, this may include your name, business email, telephone number, organization, role, website, location, requested category, approximate audience size, vendor relationships, target timing, and the information you enter in narrative fields.

Do not submit Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, payment-card details, financial-account credentials, medical information, passwords, private guest lists, student records, or other sensitive personal information through general inquiry forms.

Our hosting, security, and delivery providers may automatically process limited technical information needed to operate and protect the site, such as IP address, browser type, device information, request logs, and timestamps.

Audience-Owned Deployment Privacy

Rivalry Commerce is designed to operate as an independent commerce layer without taking possession of an audience owner’s private audience database. Rivalry Commerce does not require access to or maintain copies of an audience owner’s guest list, membership roster, student record system, ticketing database, customer relationship management database, payment-card data, or vendor customer credentials.

• Authorized access remains with the audience owner. The audience owner, rights holder, or approved operator controls how an authorized link, QR code, invitation credential, or access code is distributed to its audience.
• No personal audience profiles. Rivalry Commerce does not use deployment activity to create individual consumer profiles or follow named audience members across unrelated events or deployments.
• Aggregate operational measurement. Deployment reporting may include totals or event-scoped metrics such as authorized visits, scans, impressions, product interactions, click-throughs, placement performance, conversion confirmations, quantities, and aggregate commerce results.
• Event-scoped technical controls. Limited technical records or temporary identifiers may be processed when reasonably necessary to validate authorized access, maintain security, prevent duplicate or abusive activity, and produce aggregate reporting. They are not intended to reveal an audience member’s private identity.
• External seller checkout. Vendor purchases occur through the applicable vendor or seller destination. Rivalry Commerce does not collect or store the purchaser’s payment-card number, bank-account information, or vendor-account password and does not act as merchant of record.
• Lifecycle boundary. Data access and processing associated with a deployment are limited to the approved purpose and lifecycle, subject to reasonable security, reporting, recordkeeping, dispute, and legal-compliance needs after the deployment closes.

How Information Is Used

Information may be used to respond to inquiries, evaluate deployment fit, communicate about requested services, maintain site security, prevent misuse, administer business records, and comply with legal obligations.

Rivalry Commerce does not use this website to process vendor product purchases, hold vendor funds, manage vendor inventory, fulfill vendor orders, build advertising profiles, or sell access to private audience information.

Service Providers and Disclosure

Information may be processed by service providers that support hosting, security, email, file delivery, business operations, or professional services. These providers may access information only as necessary to perform their functions and subject to applicable contractual or legal obligations.

The website is hosted through Netlify. Information submitted through a Netlify-enabled form is processed and stored as a form submission in the site’s Netlify account so Rivalry Commerce can review and respond. Google Analytics processes website usage information as described below. A linked vendor, seller, payment destination, or other third-party service controls the information collected in its own environment.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or support a business transaction involving the company.

Analytics, Cookies, and Technical Services

The site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate website activity, such as pages viewed, general traffic sources, approximate geography, device or browser characteristics, and interaction patterns. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers. Google states that GA4 uses IP addresses at collection time for functions such as approximate location and security and discards them before the address is logged or stored.

The site may also use essential browser storage, hosting logs, and similar technical functions required for navigation, form processing, security, performance, and basic site operation. Rivalry Commerce does not use the public site to build private audience profiles or conduct cross-context behavioral advertising.

Third-party services linked from the site operate under their own privacy terms. Leaving this site or using a third-party seller destination may result in separate data collection by that third party.

Retention and Security

Information is retained only as reasonably necessary to evaluate and respond to the request, administer an authorized deployment, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, protect security, and comply with legal obligations. Retention depends on the information category, the status of the inquiry or deployment, and applicable contractual or legal requirements. Information that is no longer reasonably needed should be deleted or de-identified.

No transmission or storage method is completely secure. Users should avoid sending sensitive personal, financial, health, or authentication information through general inquiry channels.

Privacy Requests

Depending on applicable law and your relationship with Rivalry Commerce, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about certain personal information; to opt out of qualifying sale or sharing; to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and to receive equal service when exercising a privacy right. Rights, thresholds, and exceptions vary by jurisdiction.

Rivalry Commerce does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. If a legally recognized browser-based opt-out signal applies to a processing activity conducted through this site, Rivalry Commerce will address that signal as required by applicable law.

Children’s Privacy

This business website and its inquiry forms are not directed to children under 13, and Rivalry Commerce does not knowingly request personal information from children through this site. Audience-Owned deployments may involve schools, youth organizations, teams, academies, or family environments, but the deployment model is designed not to require Rivalry Commerce to receive children’s names, student records, private membership records, or individual profiles. The applicable audience owner or authorized adult operator remains responsible for its own notices, permissions, and lawful audience communications.

Policy Updates

This Privacy Notice may be updated to reflect changes in site operations, services, legal requirements, or business practices. The current version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
